Damai is Bahasa Indonesia for ‘peace’
THE DAMAI is an organic resort overlooking Bali’s unspoilt North Coast. Just 14 butler-serviced villas, ranging in size from the intimate to the palatial surrounded by lush gardens with views stretching from Bali’s old capital Singaraja in the East to the distant volcanoes of Java in the West.
Our charming little village is called Kayuputih which means ‘white wood’, and we are just four kilometers from the ocean and Lovina.
Restaurant
Already the subject of both cook books and magazine articles the award-winning restaurant at Damai serves organic vegetables and meats from our own small farm, together with fresh catch from the bountiful Bali sea and imported delicacies. Western and Asian cooking are combined in the innovative á lá carte menu while the daily changing three-course menu reinvents the traditional Balinese cuisine serving new versions of classic dishes. A vegetarian menu is available and special dietary and individual requests are catered for.

Activities
Both magnificent and private wedding ceremonies can be held at Damai, as Balinese ceremonies or in the tradition of the major religion of your choice.
The resort offers a wide variety of tours and picnics to the surrounding attractions. Special tours can be customized to your wishes. We offer chauffeured transfer to all locations in Bali. Shuttle to/from Lovina is free.
Environmental and social commitment
- Donation or contribution to Kayu putih village for both village development and cultures event.
- Supporting the local culture by give the village children a Balinese dance course twice a week.
- Participated in THK (Tri Hita Karana) tourism award, a competition for all hotels in Bali who already implemented green tourism and accreditation of Parahyangan/Spiritual, Pawongan/Social environment and Palemahan/eco surrounding.
